Roles and Responsibilities - PCBA Production Leader
- Plan and execute SMT production as per daily/shift targets and schedule
- Supervise line activities including printing, pick & place, and reflow process
- Ensure proper manpower allocation and line balancing for efficiency
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate for quick issue resolution
- Ensure correct feeder setup, program verification, and first article approval
- Track production output, downtime, and achieve KPIs like FPY and OEE
- Maintain quality by controlling defects such as solder issues, misplacement, tombstoning
- Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and planning teams for smooth operations
- Ensure adherence to ESD, safety, and process discipline on shop floor
- Support quick changeover and minimize line stoppage time
- Train and guide operators for process improvement and skill development
- Maintain production reports, shift logs, and traceability records
