- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PCB Layout Design Engineer with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in designing and laying out printed circuit boards (PCBs)
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronics, PCB design software proficiency, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment
- As a PCB Layout Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of electronic products, ensuring the PCB layouts are optimized for performance, manufacturability, and reliability
Requirements
PCB Layout Design:
- Design, develop, and optimize PCB layouts for Power electronic products.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to understand design requirements and constraints.
- Ensure that the PCB layout meets electrical and mechanical design specifications.
- Perform component placement, routing, and layout reviews.
- Implement industry best practices for Power Integrity, Signal integrity, EMI/EMC compliance, and Thermal management.
PCB Design Software:
- Proficiency in using industry-standard PCB design software such as Altium Designer.
- Stay updated with the latest tools and techniques in PCB design.
Design Verification:
- Conduct design verification and validation tests to ensure PCB functionality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any layout-related issues or discrepancies.
Manufacturing Support:
- Generate and review manufacturing files (Gerber files, BOMs, assembly drawings) for PCB fabrication and assembly.
Documentation:
- Maintain detailed and organized documentation of PCB designs and revisions.
- Create design reports and release documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure that PCB layouts comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Stay informed about emerging industry trends and regulations related to PCB design.
