Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled
PCB design engineer responsible for schematic capture, PCB layout design, and coordination with fabrication and assembly teams. The candidate should have strong knowledge of multilayer PCB design, high-speed routing, and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop PCB layouts from schematics
- Perform component placement and routing (2-layer to multilayer boards)
- Generate and validate Gerber files, BOM, and fabrication outputs
- Conduct DRC (Design Rule Check) and ERC validation
- Work on high-speed, RF, and mixed-signal PCB designs
- Ensure proper grounding, impedance control, and EMI/EMC compliance
- Coordinate with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors
- Troubleshoot PCB-related hardware issues
- Maintain design documentation and revision control
Required Skills
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of PCB layout and stack-up design
- Experience with SMT THT components
- Understanding of signal integrity and power integrity
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC standards
- Hands-on experience in multilayer PCB design
- Familiarity with HDI, BGA routing, and differential pair routing
Software Skills- Proficiency in tools like:
- Altium Designer
- OrCAD
- KiCad
- Cadence Allegro
Educational Qualification
- B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics Communication / Electrical / Instrumentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Embedded Hardware Projects
- Knowledge of Microcontrollers and Power Supply Design
- Experience in PCB fabrication coordination
