Job Description

  • Highspeed PCB Design using Altium designer
  • Excellent understanding of ECAD design tools, specifically Altium.
  • In-depth knowledge of PCB design requiring differential pairs, high speed, controlled impedance, and high power.
  • Strong understanding of PCB design considerations for EMI/EMC, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Testability (DFT), thermal management, and safety.
  • Experience with processor and BGA-based designs.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IPC standards.
  • Proficient knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic environment
  • Perform placement and routing of PCBs for engineering review using Altium
  • Prepare PCB routing layout for engineering review
  • Prepare PCB manufacturing data for use in PCB fabrication
  • Generate accurate fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and manufacturing artwork using Valor and Blueprint PCB
  • Drive evolution of corporate PCB design standards by keeping current on underlying PCB materials technology, fabrication and assembly processes and their application in new products.
  • Conduct design feasibility studies to identify layout-related trade-offs on packaging, cost, manufacturing, and system performance for the engineering design team.
  • Own the responsibility of final design packages which include output file checks and the generation of fabrication and assembly documentation
  • Build and maintain part libraries following the defined processes, ensuring they are complete and correct.
  • Collaborate with other team members as required
