Job Purpose
To strategically lead and optimize the performance of the Pharmacy Benefit Management department, driving cost savings and improving member outcomes at a top management level.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and inspire a large offshore technology organization (span of 200–500 members).
- Cultivate high-performing engineering teams and managers.
- Motivate and engage teams with a grounded, collaborative approach.
Technology Strategy & Delivery
- Define architectural and design direction for technology teams.
- Oversee development and implementation of enterprise architecture and delivery solutions.
- Drive modernization initiatives leveraging cloud, DevOps, and automation.
Collaboration
- Work closely with U.S.-based leaders and local leadership to align on priorities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Innovation & Quality
- Ensure solutions meet standards for scalability, security, and performance.
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement across teams
Requirements
Experience
- 20+ years in technology leadership roles, in Healthcare and PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) domains.
- Proven track record managing large-scale teams (200–500 members).
Technical Depth
- Strong hands-on experience in enterprise architecture, application development, and integration.
- Expertise in modern technologies (cloud platforms, microservices, CI/CD, API frameworks).
Leadership Skills
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to motivate teams and foster an inclusive, high-performance culture.
