Job Description

The Magna HR systems team is a fast-growing team meant to support day to day activities of Payroll and HR practitioners within our Canadian and US operations. This role is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance for the Dayforce Time and Payroll modules.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the Dayforce Payroll module
  • Assist end-users in resolving system issues related to payroll processing and related functionalities
  • Document and track support tickets, ensuring timely resolution of user inquiries and issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system bugs, enhancements, and upgrades
  • Conduct testing and validation of system configurations, updates, and enhancements
  • Train end-users on Dayforce Payroll functionalities and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Dayforce features and industry trends

Who we are looking for

  • University education or equivalent. Preferably Business Related in nature.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and analytic skills with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to accurately collect information in order to understand and assess the clients needs and situation
  • Well-developed root-cause analytical skills with the ability to configure and troubleshoot issues and defects
  • Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution
  • Previous experience in supporting Dayforce Time and Payroll or similar HRIS software
  • Knowledge of timekeeping and payroll processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Focus on delivering quality customer service
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
