Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist with 0–2 years of experience using Zoho Payroll software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and maintaining accurate employee compensation records.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll using Zoho Payroll or related Zoho applications
- Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, deductions, bonuses, and reimbursements
- Maintain and update employee payroll records and data
- Handle statutory compliance including PF, ESI, TDS, and other applicable regulations
- Generate payroll reports and reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for payroll inputs and approvals
- Address employee queries related to payroll, taxes, and payslips
- Ensure timely salary disbursement and adherence to payroll schedules
- Assist in audits and ensure proper documentation of payroll records
Required Skills & Qualifications (Mandatory Criteria)- Must have 1+ years experience in either:
- Any Foreign accounting, OR
- Indian vendor invoice processing / vendor payments / payroll handling
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Payroll (preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in handling payroll for multiple locations or large employee bases
- Knowledge of Zoho Books / Zoho People
- Certification in payroll or HR operations (a plus)
