Payroll Specialist - US Payroll

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Payroll Specialist.

In this role, you will:

• Participate in less complex initiatives and identify opportunity for process improvements within Payroll
• Review and analyze basic or tactical Payroll assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, related to low-to-medium risk deliverables
• Present recommendations for resolving more complex Payroll situations and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of Payroll policies, procedures, and/or compliance requirements
• Provide information to Payroll colleagues, internal partners, and peers

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Accounting, Payroll, Payroll Tax experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Job Expectations:

• 2+ years of Workday Bulk transaction processing/ Payroll processing on Workday
