About the Role-HR Payroll Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Payroll Specialist who will take complete ownership of end-to-end payroll management for the India region. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in payroll compliance, compensation processes, payroll analytics, and HR reporting, while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage complete end-to-end payroll processing for India, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely salary disbursement.
- Validate and process monthly payroll inputs including attendance, variable pay, incentives, deductions, reimbursements, overtime, and all compensation components.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, LWF, Gratuity, Income Tax, and other India payroll regulations.
- Prepare monthly payroll reports, reconciliation statements, statutory filings, and audit documentation.
- Develop and maintain payroll dashboards, MIS reports, and analytics to track payroll trends, compensation insights, and workforce data.
- Perform payroll data analysis to identify discrepancies, cost insights, and improvement opportunities.
- Generate HR and payroll reporting for leadership, including compensation reports, payroll cost analysis, and compliance summaries.
- Support day-to-day HR Operations including employee lifecycle updates, HRIS management, documentation, and exit formalities.
- Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and accuracy of employee compensation data.
- Drive continuous improvements in payroll processes, automation, reporting, and data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Experience handling payroll for multi-location or high-volume teams.
- Exposure to HR analytics tools, dashboard reporting, or BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) is an added advantage.
Mandatory Experience
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end India payroll management (core requirement).
- Strong understanding of India payroll compliance and statutory laws.
- Experience in payroll analytics, dashboard creation, and HR reporting.
- Proficiency in HRMS and payroll tools.
