Job Description

To manage accurate and timely payroll processing while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and company policies. The role supports seamless employee experience through precise salary disbursement, tax compliance, and resolution of payroll-related queries. The incumbent is responsible for structure and setting up of payroll system, participating in ongoing projects and initiatives related to program changes/enhancements and associated updates in payroll system development and testing.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree is a must. Payroll related diploma certificate may be advantageous but not necessary

Experience

  • Previous experience of 8-10 + years in executing of India payroll - high volume full function payroll processing.
  • Prior experience in setting up and system design of payroll systems for handling complex income tax deductions, year-end tax filings, and statutory returns for India payroll.

Requirements

  • Strong numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good oral and written communication skills and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of basic procedures and statutory requirements of India payroll processing
