Job Description:
Payroll Processing
- End to end monthly payroll processing for all employees
- Validation of attendance, leave and variable compensation
- Payroll reconciliation and verification
- Preparation of payroll inputs, outputs, salary registers and reports
Statutory Compliance
- Coordination and compliance related to PF, ESIC, Gratuity and other statutory obligations
- Work closely with the appointed external consultant for monthly filings and submissions
- Ensure adherence to applicable labour laws and guidelines
HRMS and Employee Support
- Monitor and maintain employee attendance, leave and data in KEKA
- Address employee payroll and salary queries through ticketing
- Maintain employee records and payroll documentation
Finance Collaboration
- Coordinate with Finance on TDS, GST and statutory accounting matters
- Support with audit requirements and financial documentation
- Salary structure changes and taxation updates
Required Core Skills
- Advanced payroll processing knowledge
- Working knowledge of TDS, GST and income tax payroll rules
- Strong knowledge of PF, ESIC and statutory compliance
- Ability to manage audits and monthly payroll cycles independently
- Experience in HRMS platforms (KEKA preferred)
- Understanding of labour regulations and payroll policies
Job Requirement:
Experience Required
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of professional experience
- At least 2 years of independently managing payroll for a company with a headcount of 200 employees or more
- HRMS experience and exposure to KEKA or similar platforms
- Experience collaborating with external consultants and finance teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate or Postgraduate in HR, Accounting, Commerce or related fields
- Payroll certification or HR compliance certification would be an advantage
