Job Description For Payroll Operations Associate

Position Title: Payroll Operation Associate CL -12

Location: Bengaluru

Employment Type: Full Time

Must have skills : Payroll Processing

Good to have skills : India Payroll

Job Summary:

It involves handling various payroll-related tasks. This includes managing payroll processing, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and handling individual tax and social security contributions. The role also requires good technical aptitude in payroll, finance, and systems, as well as knowledge of India Payroll.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of India Payroll, statutory requirements, and compliance.
  • Ensures accurate, timely payroll processing.
  • Efficiently manages payroll queries and supports employee concerns.
  • Proficient in payroll, finance, and related systems.
  • Knowledgeable about compensation, benefits, and related settlements.
  • Manages full and final settlements per policy and law.
  • Understands gratuity eligibility and calculations.
  • Familiar with leave encashment and statutory obligations.
  • Aware of Provident Fund and Employees State Insurance (ESI) requirements.
  • Handles individual tax calculations and reconciliation.
  • Stays updated on relevant tax regulations impacting payroll.

Job Qualification:


  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, accounting, business administration, or related field
  • 3 years experience in Full & Final Settlement (F&F) processing for India payroll
  • Proficient in end-to-end F&F lifecycle: exit inputs, validations, payouts
  • Knowledge about compensation components affecting F&F calculations
  • Strong grasp of statutory compliance during separation: PF, ESI, PT, LWF
  • Adept at gratuity eligibility, calculation, and payment timelines
  • Experienced with tax implications on F&F payouts, including TDS
  • Updated on latest tax rules and labor law changes affecting exits
  • Focused on accurate reconciliation and audit readiness
  • Effective communicator with HR, Finance, and employees
  • Maintains confidentiality and ensures compliance handling sensitive payroll data

Additional Information:


  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in commerce or a related field, along with good knowledge and experience in Payroll processing.
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
