Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager with 7-12 years of experience in payroll operations, ideally within Manufacturing or jewellery sectors. The candidate will manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensure statutory compliance, and optimize payroll operations using payroll software.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle payroll for all employees, including factory staff, artisans, office staff, and contract workers.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations such as PF, ESI, professional tax, TDS, labour laws, and other legal requirements.
Handle payroll calculations for multiple shifts, piece-rate production incentives, overtime, and bonuses.
Maintain accurate payroll records and generate reports for management and statutory authorities.
Use payroll software to streamline processes and ensure timely salary disbursements.
Coordinate with HR on new hires, terminations, salary revisions, and leave management.
Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee queries efficiently.
Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in payroll processes.
Qualifications Experience
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
5-6 years of payroll management experience, preferably in manufacturing or jewellery sectors.
Hands-on experience with payroll software (Tally, SAP, Spine Hrms, or similar).
Strong knowledge of statutory regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Preferred Skills
Experience with payroll audits and statutory reporting.
Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll automation tools.
