About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager with strong expertise in Payroll Payables, Accounts Payable, and Vendor Managementpreferably from the staffing industry or similar high-volume environments. This role requires exceptional accuracy, process ownership, and the ability to manage large-scale payout cycles while ensuring compliance with statutory norms.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Payroll Operations
- Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) process, including invoice validation, approvals, and timely vendor payments.
- Handle high-volume payroll-related payouts: staffing partners, consultants, employees, reimbursements, F&F settlements, and statutory remittances.
- Post & verify accounting entries, maintain accurate ledgers, and update financial systems.
- Reconcile payroll outputs vs vendor invoices, ensuring 100% accuracy with zero variances.
- Monitor and maintain payable aging, cash-flow forecasts, and vendor account reconciliations.
Compliance, Statutory & Audit Support
- Manage statutory payments: TDS, PF, ESI, PT, LWF, LPA, etc.
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards and maintain all related documentation.
- Support internal and external audits with complete, accurate, and timely data.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
- Work closely with HR, Payroll Teams, Finance, and external staffing vendors.
- Ensure smooth communication, timely issue resolution, and relationship management with vendors.
- Identify process gaps and contribute to enhancements in AP and payroll systems.
Requirements
- 510+ years of experience in Accounts Payables, with at least 3 years in payroll/staffing industry.
- Solid knowledge of statutory compliance, payroll structure, and payables workflow.
- Proficiency in Tally, SAP, ERP systems, and financial documentation.
- Excellent skills in reconciliation, vendor management, communication, and deadline-driven operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving approach; ability to manage pressure and large data volumes.
