Purpose of the role
The Payroll Integration Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of payroll data across various systems, including Workday and global payroll vendors. This role involves auditing data, collaborating with stakeholders-understand pain points, collecting requirements, leading projects to implement ne w integrations and improvements, and staying current with industry trends and best practices.
Key Accountabilities
Manage the flow of payroll data between Workday, global payroll vendors, and other related systems.
Conduct regular audits of payroll data across systems to identify and correct discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Need to add a point on Data compilation & Insights for Discovery phase - very critical
Partner with stakeholders in HR, D&T (Digital & Technology), and Finance to communicate data issues, implement corrections, and ensure data alignment.
Lead projects related to the implementation of new payroll integrations or the improvement of existing integrations, including gathering requirements, designing solutions, and managing project timelines.
Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans for system enhancements, upgrades, and new integrations to ensure accurate and reliable payroll processing.
Monitor daily payroll integrations to identify and resolve any issues or errors in a timely manner.
Research and stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to payroll processing and data management.
Document payroll processes, procedures, and system configurations to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Collaborate with the payroll team to support the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve data accuracy through automation and process optimization
Minimum Qualifications
Education - Full time graduation from an accredited university
10+ years of experience in payroll processing, data analysis, or a related role.
Experience working with Workday Payroll System
Experience with global payroll vendors and global payroll processes with compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets, use formulas, and analyze data.
Project management experience, including leading and implementing system integrations or improvements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different departments.
Knowledge of multi-country payroll regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong understanding of data integration principles and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is a plus.
Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations (related to payroll data).
