We are seeking a Payroll Executive to join our dynamic team at a 22-year-old jewellery company in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure all data is up to date.
- Calculate and process deductions, bonuses, and other payroll adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and tax regulations related to payroll.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
- Prepare payroll reports for management review.
- Assist in year-end tax reporting and auditing processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in payroll processing or related functions.
- Strong understanding of payroll software and systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations in India.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
