Job Summary:

Payroll Executive is responsible for making sure employees are paid accurately and on

time. They manage payroll functions, including calculating employee pay checks, withholding taxes, and any other deductions, as well as maintaining accurate payroll records for businesses.

Responsibilities:-

  • Complying with relevant awards and legislation
  • Preparation and payment of all State PAYG tax, Payroll tax, Superannuation Guarantee contributions
  • Processing and entering timesheets into the payroll system, reviewing and ensuring the rates are correct.
  • Processing new employee's contracts and terminations (from a payroll perspective)
  • Ensuring accurate payroll transactions and payments
  • Preparation and timely delivery of pay slips and annual payment summaries
  • Assisting with month-end reporting
  • Answering general payroll enquiries.
  • Resolving payroll issues
  • Employee record maintenance
  • Regular filing and archiving of payroll information

Qualifications:-

  • Understanding of Modern nurses Awards, SCHADs and other state awards
  • Knowledge of general payroll practices, procedures, operations and legislation
  • Deadline focused
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to investigate issues and find solutions
  • Honesty and integrity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in finance
  • Advanced computer skills including, Microsoft Word and Excel
