Job Summary:
The Payroll Executive is responsible for managing all aspects of stipend processing, ensuring accurate and timely stipend disbursements, compliance with statutory regulations, and handling article stipend-related queries and manage audit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end stipend for articles on monthly basis.
- Validate attendance, leaves, incentives, and deductions for accurate stipend calculations.
- Ensure timely deposit of stipend.
- Maintain stipend records and ensure data integrity.
- Prepare stipend reports for management and audit purposes.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, Principles and external auditors as needed.
- Respond to article queries regarding stipend payment and deductions.
- Ensure timely processing and payment of principle invoices and maintain reconciliation of invoices processed and pending.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of stipend data.
- Keep up to date with changes in payroll laws and practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, HR, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Experience with HRMS or payroll management tools is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of applicable labor laws and taxation will be an added advantage.
