About The Role
We are hiring a reliable and detail-oriented individual to handle payroll and financial administration. This role requires knowledge of payroll processing, basic company legalities, and hands-on management of financial instruments (stamps, chequebooks, company cards).
The person will be responsible for managing general ledger entries, preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Additional duties include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with tax audits and returns, and providing support during budget preparation.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Employee Payments
- Process monthly payroll, reimbursements, and incentives on time.
- Maintain accurate salary records and employee payment history.
- Knowledge of Garnishments and Payroll Taxes to ensure compliance and accurate processing
Financial Administration
- Safekeep and manage company stamps, chequebooks, and corporate cards.
- Record all financial transactions: salaries, expenses, vendor payments, and incoming revenues.
- Track petty cash flows and ensure accurate documentation of outflows.
- Prepare and submit monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) reports to management.
Compliance & Banking Coordination
- Work with outsourced consultants to ensure company remains compliant with statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, GST, etc.).
- Assist in company-related amendments, filings, and regulatory updates.
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for company-related updates.
Management Reporting & Analysis
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and reconcile regularly.
- Provide management with clear and concise monthly financial dashboards.
- Ensure timely updation of HR/Accounts and other signing authorities for day-to-day work..
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in payroll, accounts, or financial administration.
- Working knowledge of compliance basics (PF, ESIC, TDS, GST).
- Strong MS Excel / accounting software skills.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
