Payroll Administrator - India
About this Role:
The Payroll Administrator – Global role plays a critical role in ensuring global employees of Insight Global are paid accurately and on time. This includes a range of responsibilities from the coordination of processes across multiple teams, maintaining compliance with country-specific regulations, and processing payroll transactions. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to building scalable payroll processes that support a global workforce.

What You'll Do:
• Review, reconcile, and process accurate, timely payrolls for full-time employees and contractors.
• Prepare and verify payroll calculations; generate payroll reports and maintain payroll records.
• Administer statutory payments and filings: PF, PT, TDS (monthly/quarterly/annual), and year-end
returns.
• Validate employee records (PAN, Aadhaar, UAN, bank details), maintain payroll data integrity, and
coordinate with HR/Shared Services to resolve discrepancies.
• Validate and approve contractor GST details; ensure correct GST treatment and support invoice
verification and coordinate with Finance for GST reconciliations.
• Process payroll transactions including premium pays, bonuses, and other one-off payments.
• Build and improve efficient, scalable global payroll processes.
• Maintain detailed records of processed items, adjustments, and one-off payments.
• Partner with country HR teams to process new hires, terminations, and salary changes.
• Troubleshoot global payroll issues and resolve pay-related discrepancies.
• Respond to employee paycheck queries and provide payroll support
• Support payroll system administration and process improvements—drive automation initiatives,
optimize payroll workflows, and implement controls and reconciliations to mitigate risk.

Relevant Experience:
• 5 years of payroll experience.
• Attentiveness to detail and ability to handle detail work in a timely manner.
• Strong work ethic, team player, and high degree of professionalism.
• Customer service experience.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve.
• Ability to work with confidential information.
• Strong organization skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Strong skills across multiple advanced platforms, such as Microsoft.
• Strong understanding of payrolls systems and tax laws
• Experience with payroll software
