Job Title: Payroll Accounting Associate

Experience: 3–7Years

Location: Bangalore – BTP, Bagmane

Shift: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Notice Period: Immediate Joiner

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end payroll accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and resolve P&L and balance sheet variances.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure accurate posting of payroll-related transactions in the General Ledger.
• Handle and resolve client payroll accounting queries within defined SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Monitor payroll KPIs such as accuracy, turnaround time, timeliness, and query resolution.
• Identify process gaps and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Accounting and Payroll Accounting.
• Hands-on experience in payroll reconciliation and journal entries.
• Good understanding of payroll processes and statutory components.
• Experience with payroll/ERP tools such as SAP, SAP ECP, BlackLine, UKG, or Cognos is preferred.
• Experience in a shared services or client-facing environment is preferred.
