Position Summary:
The Payroll Analyst is responsible for managing endtoend payroll accounting activities, ensuring accurate salary payments, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and timely reporting. This role partners closely with HR, Finance, and external auditors to maintain compliant and efficient payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Role involves preparation of payroll journals for 13 countries in APAC region.
- Payroll Accounting Payroll batch interface to EBS/Cloud
- Prepare payroll journals and ensure accurate posting to the General Ledger
- Reconcile payroll accounts (wages, taxes, benefits, advances)
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Gratuity, LWF, etc.).
- Ensure liabilities recorded are correct with appropriate backups available.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
- Payroll - month end closing activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance.
- 3+ years of experience in payroll or accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and statutory laws.
- Proficiency in Excel and payroll software (Oracle, ADP, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Very good level of written and spoken English
