Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Payroll Accountant located in Calicut. The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for overseeing payroll processes, managing payroll taxes, and ensuring compliance with employment contracts. The role involves maintaining up-to-date records in accounting software, preparing payroll reports, and ensuring that payroll operations run accurately and efficiently. Collaboration with internal teams and staying updated on regulations are key components of this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in payroll processing and payroll accounting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll software such as Keka.
• Strong experience in reconciliation and audit support activities.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll-related statutory compliances, including EPF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, employee benefits administration, and labour law requirements.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and account reconciliation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
• B.Com /M.com/ MBA or pursuing CA/ CMA/CS
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in payroll/ accounts is required
