Job Purpose
As Lead – Distribution Operations, you will be responsible for You will also lead and direct the channel partner & vendor empanelment, allied distribution operation vertical handling the end-to-end responsibility for processing, onboarding and servicing requirements for all individual and group distribution channels.This role responsible for tracking overall hygiene of distribution operations, covering areas of onboarding process compliance, Audit, operational risk management, team productivity, etc.

Job Context/Job Challenges:Organizational Context:ABC Digital has been incorporated as a wholly owned subsidiary of Aditya Birla Capital in 2023 to engage in distribution of Aditya Birla Capital products and providing services to customers, including web-based services,e-commerce, and payments facilities and allied activities. ABC Digital is developing an omni-channel based D2C platform (website and app) to acquire new customers and serve them seamlessly. In addition, ABC Digital has started a virtual engagement management through inbound and outbound calling.
Job Context:Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and risk standards in distribution operations
Expand and analyze existing distribution processes and identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced operational efficiency.Collaborate with various functions to align distribution operations with the organization's business goals.Implement best practices and lean methodologies to streamline operations Lead the advancements in distribution technology and implement relevant tools and system to enhance operational efficiency Frequent changes in regulatory and business processes, which have to be quickly and completely adopted by a large number of team members across the length and breadth of the country Drive compliance in the entire Licensing process and efficiencies to be built in the entire process for improvements in the IN OUT ratio Review and drive adherence of TAT of various process of Channel Partner and sales team servicing, managing exceptions and taking business call in case of exigencies Given the rapid expansion decentralizing operations becomes an imperative in order to build scale and enhance efficiencies.Ensuring availability of resources (manpower, space, IT infrastructure, vendors, supplies) to ensure smoothworkflow, coping with changes in business volumes
Ensuring that cross functional support and timely execution of their actionables such that various organisation-wide and function specific Projects get rolled out in a time-bound and efficient manner Build and manage relationships with colleagues and peers in other Operations & functional areas, Sales, Marketing & Key Distribution Partners.Identify and evaluate potential vendors and partners, distribution-related services, foster strong and collaborative relationships with key vendors, partners promoting open communication and a shared commitment to mutual success Liaise between functions and stakeholders to ensure organizational desired goals and objectives are effectively communicated and met. Oversee all administrative processes within the distribution center to include generation of shift, Manpower, and operational reports
Manage and maintain a centralized database for distribution-related data, ensuring it is organized, secure, and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders Audit and compliance processes adherence and record management
Key Challenges Getting higher mindshare from Employees/ channel partners and channels in complex and competitive markets
Process optimization through automation and improvements to ensure faster service and reduced turnaround time

KRA1 Channel/ Vendor Empanelment Effective onboard and management of channel partners and vendors, through streamlined process, fostering strong relationships, and maximizing mutual success
Work closely with various departments and partnering with concerned team members to ensure channel and vendors are onboarded as per prescribed processes.
Collaborate with IT to digitalize channel / vendors onboarding and other process to increase efficiencies.
Ensure the processes align with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Implement changes and enhancements to streamline onboarding and improve overall satisfaction
KRA2 Stakeholder Management To effectively manage and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering positive collaboration
Prioritize stakeholders based on their influence, impact, and relevance to organizational success & growth
Develop and implement a strategic engagement plan for each stakeholder group, outlining communication strategies, touchpoints, and involvement in organizational initiatives
Work closely with stakeholders from different business units to understand their data needs and provide valuable insights for their specific requirements
Implement effective conflict resolution strategies to maintain positive relationships and prevent potential disruptions
Regularly evaluate and report on KPIs to leadership, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
KRA3 Team Management Mentor, provide operational leadership and technical guidance to the team, thereby developing a strong and competent team
Review performance of the team on a regular and continuous basis and provide developmental feedback.
Conduct one-to-one and team meetings on a regular basis to discuss and resolve issues, to seek feedback /suggestions on self /on department's operations and to provide guidance support
