As a Financial Analyst within our Finance team, you will be a strategic thinker passionate about promoting solutions in financial analysis. You will spend each day defining, refining, and delivering set goals for our firm. You will assist in managing the annual CCAR filing for Payments and deliver quarterly internal Risk Appetite stress results. Additionally, you will manage the budget and forecasting models for Merchant Services and Treasury Services, focusing on Revenue and Balance Sheet. You will perform variance analysis of budget versus actual results to identify promoters that require model calibrations. Furthermore, you will support OPM valuation and audit requirements as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the execution of the annual CCAR, quarterly Risk Appetite stress testing exercises, and associated deliverables
- Perform detailed variance analysis to understand stressed financials and drivers behind cycle-over-cycle variances
- Partner with various Payments P&A, Business Manager and Central P&A teams to complete the stress testing submissions
- Perform reconciliations of stress results and maintain a strong set of controls to ensure submissions are complete and accurate
- Produce high quality presentations for CIB senior management explaining results and drivers in a clear and concise manner
- Support initiatives to continually enhance the various processes run by the team
- Support the execution of Merchant Services revenue budget process during each cycle
- Support the execution of Merchant Services monthly forecast update for NII and Balance Sheet
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the financial services industry with a top-tier bank
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Strong analytical, problem solving and time management skills in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines under pressure
- Working knowledge of Payments-type products and the financial market, with the ability to grasp technical details
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
- Technologically savvy with an ability to understand systems and their internal functionality
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (primarily Excel / PowerPoint)
