As a Payment Lifecycle Analyst within Payments Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth transfer of funds between various parties while enhancing our payment operations framework. You will leverage your knowledge of automation technologies and systems architecture to process payments across various products and parties. Your responsibilities include identifying and resolving issues, making decisions guided by established practices, and contributing to short-term operational goals. You will engage with stakeholders, manage projects, and spur continuous improvement initiatives, building strong working relationships with internal lines of business. Your ability to understand and apply cybersecurity controls, anti-fraud strategies, and data analysis techniques will be key to your success in this role.

Job responsibilities
  • Review onboarding requests for completeness and accuracy validate required data fields, entitlements, sign-offs, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal partners (e.g., Lines of Business, Operations, Technology, Middle Office, Treasury, Risk/Controls, Compliance) to progress onboarding milestones and resolve blockers.
  • Execute end-to-end onboarding of Cash Nostro accounts to CAM Services, including intake, validation, setup, and go-live readiness.
  • Manage exceptions and remediation (e.g., missing/incorrect static data, approval gaps, duplicate records), ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation.
  • Ensure adherence to control requirements: checklist completion, evidence retention, audit-ready documentation, and policy/procedure compliance.
  • Track onboarding status, maintain logs/metrics, and provide clear updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Support post-onboarding stabilization activities (e.g., initial service validation, issue triage, handoff to BAU servicing teams).
  • Identify recurring onboarding pain points and contribute to process improvements, standardization, and operational risk reduction.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Effective communication and partnership skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, internal client-service mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global, cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in Advanced Excel, including complex formulas, and pivot tables.
  • Identify operational/reputational risk early and escalate appropriately with the right controls and approvals.
  • Interest in leveraging data to drive operational efficiency and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Experience onboarding or servicing Nostro (correspondent) cash accounts and understanding of payment rails, payment lifecycle, related operating models and controls.
  • Experience with reference/static data platforms, workflow tooling, and operational reporting along with SWIFT MX/ ISO 20022 proficiency.
  • Knowledge of banking functions in one or more of the following areas: Payments, Liquidity, Sanctions, Cash Account Management, Reconciliation, Fraud, Risk and Controls.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence, Exploratory Data Analytics (EDA) & Automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, UI Path, Power BI, Tableau etc.).
