Pattern Maker

We are actively seeking a skilled and precise Pattern Maker to join our client's team through Acme Services. This pivotal role requires expertise in both manual pattern making and proficiency with industry-leading software such as Tuka, Gerber, and Gemini. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in translating design concepts into accurate patterns, ensuring optimal fit, fabric utilization, and production efficiency for our client's products.

Key Responsibilities

• Manual Pattern Development: Create precise manual patterns from design sketches or specifications, ensuring accurate measurements and proper garment construction.
• CAD Pattern Making: Utilize specialized software such as Tuka, Gerber, and Gemini to develop, modify, and grade patterns digitally, optimizing for efficiency and precision.
• Pattern Adjustments & Grading: Make necessary adjustments to patterns based on fit sessions or design changes, and perform pattern grading for various sizes.
• Prototyping & Sampling Support: Collaborate with design and sample teams to support the creation of prototypes and samples, ensuring patterns align with desired outcomes.
• Quality & Fit Assurance: Ensure patterns contribute to the overall quality, fit, and aesthetic of the final product.

Skills

• Proficiency in manual pattern making.
• Hands-on experience with pattern making software such as Tuka, Gerber, and Gemini.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and fabric properties.
• Attention to detail and precision in pattern development.
• Ability to interpret design sketches and specifications into patterns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pattern Maker in the apparel or textile industry.
• Formal training or certification in pattern making (manual and/or CAD).
• A strong portfolio showcasing pattern making capabilities.
