Role Description The Patient Relations Officer is responsible for ensuring a positive experience for patients and their families throughout their visit to ES Healthcare Centre. This full-time onsite role, based in Ahmedabad, involves welcoming patients, managing inquiries, guiding them through registration and billing processes, and coordinating with clinical and administrative teams to resolve concerns promptly. The role includes handling feedback and complaints professionally, maintaining accurate records of patient interactions, and providing clear information about services, procedures, and policies. The Patient Relations Officer will also support service improvement initiatives, assist in patient education efforts, and help maintain a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment for all.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully and clearly with patients, families, and staff.
  • Candidates should possess skills in patient service and conflict resolution, including the ability to handle complaints, manage expectations, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Candidates should possess organizational and administrative skills, such as accurate record-keeping, basic computer literacy, and attention to detail in handling patient documentation.
  • Candidates should possess problem-solving and collaboration skills, including the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Relevant healthcare or front-desk experience in hospitals or clinics is beneficial; a diploma or degree in healthcare management, social work, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Fluency in English and local languages, a patient-centric mindset, and a commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive care are essential.
