Job Description:

We are seeking a Patient Registration & Scheduling Associate to handle end-to-end patient intake and appointment coordination for US healthcare clients. The role involves capturing accurate patient and insurance information, verifying eligibility, managing appointments, and ensuring a smooth patient experience while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Collect and update patient demographics, insurance details, and required documentation in the EMR/EHR system.

Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, referrals, and prior authorizations.

Inform patients about copays, deductibles, and financial policies; collect copayments when required.

Handle inbound calls to schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments based on provider availability.

Assign appropriate appointment types and ensure correct provider, specialty, and location selection.

Provide appointment instructions and send confirmations/reminders via call, text, or email.

Manage waitlists, fill cancellations, and escalate urgent scheduling needs.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA and compliance adherence.

Requirements

US Healthcare RCM voice process experience is mandatory.

Experience with ECW (eClinicalWorks) preferred; knowledge of multiple EHR/EMR systems is an advantage.

Strong communication skills, high accuracy in data entry, and ability to handle high call volumes.

Willingness to work from office only and in US shifts.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Patient Registration processes and accuracy in data handling
  • Strong Phone Etiquette and effective Communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare providers
  • Excellent Customer Service skills to ensure a positive experience for patients
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience in US healthcare administration or a related field is an advantage
  • Proficiency in using basic computer systems and healthcare-related software is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in healthcare-related fields are preferred
