Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for patients via phone, email, or in person.
Collect, verify, and update patient demographic, insurance, and medical information.
Schedule appointments and coordinate with healthcare providers and clinical staff.
Explain intake forms, consent documents, and clinic policies to patients.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of patient records in EMR/EHR systems.
Verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-authorizations when required.
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with PHIPA, HIPAA (if applicable), and organizational policies.
Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely patient care.
Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and follow-ups professionally.
Track intake status and report any issues or delays to supervisors.
