2. Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of healthcare professionals time and minimizing wait times for patients.
3. Healthcare Navigation: Assist patients in navigating the healthcare system, providing information on services, insurance options, and referrals to specialists when necessary.
4. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about treatment options, procedures, and aftercare instructions, ensuring understanding and compliance.
5. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the hospital's information system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.
6. Communication: Facilitate clear communication between patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff, addressing any concerns or questions promptly.
7. Billing and Insurance Assistance: Help patients understand their bills, insurance coverage, and payment options, including financial assistance programs available at Manipal Hospitals.
8. Quality Improvement: Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify opportunities for improving patient care and satisfaction, participating in quality assurance initiatives.
9. Follow-Up Care: Monitor patient follow-up schedules, ensuring that patients attend necessary appointments and receive appropriate ongoing care.
10.Team Collaboration: Work closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare personnel to ensure cohesive patient care and effective team dynamics.
