Role Description The Patient Care Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This position is responsible for welcoming patients, managing appointment scheduling, maintaining accurate patient records, and coordinating pre- and post-procedure instructions. The role includes answering patient inquiries, supporting clinical staff with patient flow, and ensuring smooth communication between patients, doctors, and support teams. The Patient Care Coordinator also assists with billing support, follow-up reminders, and patient education materials to help individuals understand their treatment options and care plans.
Qualifications
  • Strong patient service and communication skills, including the ability to explain procedures clearly and respond to questions with empathy and professionalism.
  • Experience with appointment scheduling, record management, and basic administrative tasks in a clinical or healthcare-related setting.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with medical and support staff, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with using computers, practice management or hospital information systems, and standard office software.
  • Prior experience in eye care or outpatient clinics is an advantage, though not mandatory.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree or certification in healthcare administration, nursing assistance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and following clinical safety and quality standards.
