About the Role
We are looking for a Pathologist (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on pathology, laboratory diagnostics, disease classification, clinical reasoning, and healthcare decision-making.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to histopathology, cytopathology, hematopathology, molecular pathology, laboratory medicine, and diagnostic workflows, helping improve how AI models understand and generate accurate pathology-related information.
Your expertise will contribute to improving AI systems used for medical education, diagnostic support, healthcare research, laboratory workflows, and intelligent healthcare applications.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated pathology and laboratory medicine content
- Review peer-developed deliverables to improve AI research quality and consistency
- Assess AI outputs for diagnostic accuracy, pathological interpretation, clinical relevance, reporting quality, patient safety, and adherence to evidence-based medical practices
- Identify diagnostic errors, interpretation inaccuracies, classification mistakes, laboratory misconceptions, or safety concerns in AI-generated content and provide structured feedback
- Support workflows involving histopathology review, cytology interpretation, hematological analysis, laboratory diagnostics, disease classification, and pathology reporting
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on pathology, laboratory medicine, and healthcare decision support
Requirements
- MBBS with MD/DNB Pathology, FCAP, FRCPath, or equivalent specialization in Pathology
- Strong understanding of histopathology, cytopathology, hematopathology, molecular pathology, laboratory medicine, and evidence-based clinical practice
- Experience in diagnostic pathology, surgical pathology, cytology, hematopathology, molecular diagnostics, forensic pathology, or academic medicine is preferred
- Familiarity with microscopic examination, tissue diagnosis, laboratory testing, biomarker analysis, disease classification, and pathology reporting
- Experience in medical education, teaching, publishing, research, or healthcare content review is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and medical communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
