Location: Remote (India)
The remit
A speciality-chemicals manufacturer with a growing export book is hiring its first dedicated Patent Specialist through Flexiple, to protect process and formulation IP as the R&D pipeline expands. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.
How the team works
You will sit alongside R&D chemists, capture patentable process and formulation work early, and manage the filing pipeline with external patent agents. You will also run freedom-to-operate checks before new products launch in export markets, since a missed conflict abroad is expensive to fix after the fact.
- Weekly review of R&D disclosures with the innovation team
- Standing relationship with external patent agents across two jurisdictions
What we're looking for
3 to 7 years in patent work, ideally with a chemistry or chemical engineering background. Comfort reading formulation and process documentation, and the patience to turn dense R&D notes into a clean disclosure.
