Patent Paralegal

Experience:

3 years in a patent law firm in Delhi NCR working with a patent agent/attorney in patent prosecution

Key Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end formalities for Indian patent filings

• Maintaining and monitoring statutory and internal deadlines of attorneys

• Preparing and e-filing forms before the Indian Patent Office

• Coordinating with foreign associates, clients and inventors for documents, POAs, assignments, verified translations and priority documents

• Reviewing Patent Office correspondence and reporting to attorneys and clients

• Preparing status reports and supporting portfolio management

Eligibility

• Maximum 3 years of hands-on patent formalities experience in a patent law firm in Delhi NCR working with a patent agent/attorney in patent prosecution

• Thorough working knowledge of the Patents Act, 1970, the Patents Rules and the IPO's e-filing portal

• Excellent written and spoken English, strong attention to detail and deadline discipline
