Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Patent Associate/Senior Patent Associate to join our patent drafting and prosecution team with a Chemistry background, based in Bengaluru. The individual in this role will be primarily responsible for drafting and prosecuting patent applications for both India and the USA related to chemistry and allied fields. Further, conducting patent searches using paid patent databases. Day-to-day tasks will involve working closely with clients, understanding their inventions, and providing expert advice on IP matters.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in Patent drafting and Patent Prosecution (preferably USPTO)
• Master's or advanced degree in Chemistry or related field is a must
• Registered Indian patent agent preferred.
• Excellent English written and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively
• working knowledge of paid patent databases is a plus
