Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Patent Associate with a strong technical background to join our IP team. In this role, you will work closely with clients and senior attorneys on patent drafting, prosecution, and advisory services.

• Patent Prosecution: Assist in preparing and drafting responses to First Examination Reports (FER) and managing Indian or foreign patent prosecution.

• Patent Drafting: Draft patent claims and specifications (prior experience in drafting to functional standards is highly valued).

• Technical Analysis: Evaluate complex engineering concepts, technical documents, and inventions within the CS, IT, ECE, or Electrical domains.

• Client & Office Action Support: Utilize your understanding of the Indian Patent Act and patent law to navigate application processes effectively.

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Degree in CS, IT, ECE, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in patent prosecution or drafting.
• Technical Foundation: Strong domain expertise in your core engineering field.
• Analytical Mindset: Excellent academic record with sharp problem-solving abilities.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
