Role Summary
Research Scientist – Patent Department supports patent searching, freedom to operate analysis, drafting, and prosecution activities for inventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Literature search to support R&D activities
- Conduct patentability- analyse prior art to assess novelty and inventive step
- Conduct freedom‑to‑operate searches
- Preparing and Filing Response in the Patent Office
- Drafting patent specification.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of organic chemistry
- Strong knowledge of Indian Patent Act
- Patent search and prior‑art analysis skills
- Understanding of patent
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Qualification & Experience
- M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry)
- 5 to 8 years of work experience in Intellectual property rights (Patents)
- Good communication skills
