Job Description

We're looking for a highly skilled, passionate, and innovative Chef to lead our Bakery team. If you have a love for baking, creativity in crafting exquisite desserts, and experience in leading a pastry kitchen, we want to hear from you!

Role Description

  • Oversee the Pastry/ Bakery section and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Design and execute innovative and high-quality dessert menus.
  • Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of pastries and desserts.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage ingredient costs effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards in the pastry section.
  • Experiment with new techniques, flavors, and seasonal ingredients to enhance the dessert offerings.
  • Collaborate with the Sous chef and restaurant team to align pastry items with the overall menu.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 12+ years in pastry and bakery, preferably in catering experience .

Technical Skills: Strong expertise in baking, chocolate work, sugar art, and plated desserts.

Creativity: Ability to develop visually appealing and flavorful desserts.

Leadership: Strong team management, training, and organizational skills.

Knowledge: Familiarity with modern pastry trends and international dessert techniques.

Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to presentation, taste, and consistency.
