Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Japanese Pastry Chef at Kairo Sushi, located in Hyderabad. The role involves creating traditional and innovative Japanese desserts, preparing a diverse range of pastry items, and ensuring high culinary standards. Duties include food preparation, baking, monitoring ingredient quality, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen. Collaboration with the culinary team to design seasonal and unique pastry menus will also be part of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Bakery and Baking techniques, with a focus on Japanese dessert preparation
- Strong Food Preparation and Cooking skills suitable for a professional kitchen environment
- Solid Culinary Skills and creativity with an understanding of Japanese cuisine and ingredients
- Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and kitchen organization
- Formal culinary training or certification in pastry arts is preferred
- Experience in a professional kitchen, particularly specializing in Japanese desserts, is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
