Job Purpose
Manage, optimize, and control dealer parts inventory funding by ensuring efficient working capital utilization, adequate parts availability, and alignment with business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Dealer Funding & Working Capital Management
- Plan and manage dealer parts inventory funding limits based on sales offtake, stock norms, and network expansion.
- Monitor dealer working capital utilization and ensure effective fund rotation aligned with turnover cycles.
- Analyze dealer inventory against funding limits to identify shortages, excess stock, and funding gaps.
- Recommend funding revisions and restructuring based on business performance and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with Banks, Finance, Field Teams, and Dealers for fund allocation, approvals, and limit renewals.
Inventory Planning & Performance Monitoring
- Track inventory health parameters such as inventory turns, fill rate, stock ageing, and availability.
- Drive actions to optimize inventory levels and improve parts availability across the dealer network.
- Ensure adherence to inventory norms and stocking policies.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare periodic MIS reports on dealer funding utilization, inventory performance, and working capital efficiency.
- Provide analytical insights and actionable recommendations to Management for business improvement.
Business Support & Compliance
- Support strategic initiatives including network expansion and new model launches.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and audit requirements in dealer funding processes.
Qualification & Experience
- MBA / PGDM or Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 4-9 Years of experience in Automotive OEM, Aftermarket, Dealer Operations, Inventory Planning, or Finance functions preferred.
