About the Role:

The Partnerships & Program Manager is responsible for delivering measurable growth and income outcomes by building high-performing partnerships, ensuring successful onboarding and activation of women entrepreneurs, and leading a high-performing field team.

Success in this role will be measured by the number of women onboarded, activated, earning income, and retained, as well as the performance of partners and Success Officers (SSOs).

Roles and  Responsibilities:

Partnership Growth & Performance

  • Identify, secure, and manage NGO, CSR, community, and ecosystem partners that consistently generate qualified leads for women entrepreneurs.
  • Ensure each partner achieves agreed-upon onboarding and activation targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and drive accountability for results.
  • Build a strong pipeline of future partners to support sustainable growth.

Entrepreneur Acquisition & Activation

  • Drive achievement of monthly and quarterly entrepreneur onboarding targets.
  • Ensure newly onboarded women complete training, activation activities, and begin earning income as quickly as possible.
  • Work with partners and SSOs to remove barriers preventing activation and sales.
  • Maintain high-quality onboarding standards while achieving growth targets.

SSO Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, coach, and manage SSOs to consistently achieve onboarding, activation, earnings, and engagement targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and field observations.
  • Build capability in recruitment, community mobilisation, sales, entrepreneur engagement, and problem-solving.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability and outcomes.

Program Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor key program indicators and take corrective action when targets are at risk.
  • Analyse trends, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions that improve conversion, activation, earnings, and retention.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of program performance.
  • Share learnings and best practices across teams and partners.

Key selection criteria

  • 5–8 years of experience in partnerships, livelihoods, entrepreneurship, sales, community development, or program management.
  • Demonstrated success managing external partnerships and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Experience leading field-based teams and driving performance.
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Success Indicators

Growth

  • Monthly and quarterly entrepreneur onboarding targets achieved.

Activation

  • At least 80% of newly onboarded women complete activation milestones.
  • At least 70% of newly onboarded women earn income within 30 days.

Partner Performance

  • Partner onboarding and activation targets consistently achieved.
  • Strong partner retention and engagement.

SSO Performance

  • SSO targets are achieved consistently.
  • Improvement in SSO productivity and capability.

Program Quality

  • Accurate and timely reporting.
  • Improved entrepreneur retention and engagement.

This role will  be measured by:

Women recruited → Women activated → Women earning → Women retained
