Citrix L2 Support Engineer

Years of Experience: 4+ Years

5 days work from office, Prestige Techpark, Bangalore 
should be ready to work in monthly rotational shifts

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Citrix L2 Support Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Citrix technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to Citrix environments. This role requires a deep understanding of Citrix products and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2 support for Citrix environments, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of Citrix VDI solutions, ensuring optimal user experience.
  • Collaborate with Level 1 support teams to escalate and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Implement and manage Citrix policies, profiles, and applications.
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of Citrix infrastructure components.
  • Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles for future reference.
  • Participate in on-call support rotation as needed.
  • Stay updated with the latest Citrix technologies and best practices.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in Citrix technologies, specifically in VDI environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
  • Experience with Citrix provisioning services and application layering.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting Citrix-related issues, including connectivity, performance, and user access.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Citrix ADC (NetScaler) and load balancing.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools for Citrix environments.
  • Certifications such as Citrix Certified Associate (CCA) or Citrix Certified Professional (CCP) are a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Citrix support and administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
