Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking an Assistant Manager, AT Project, Risk and Compliance Team

Position Overview:

The primary objective of the Project, Risk, and Compliance (QRC) team is to execute the firm requirements for ensuring technology solutions adhere to Risk and Compliance guidelines, and to issue the appropriate technology certifications confirming permissible usage (certifications).

Additionally, the team manages a strategic roadmap for the evolution of the Risk and Compliance approach for future technology initiatives. This includes updating processes and procedures to improve the team's efficiency through the certification process, and to continue to identify and manage inherent and incremental risks of technology solutions.

This role involves acting as a liaison between different teams and entities within a larger organization, leveraging strong project management and communication skills to ensure technology certifications are executed smoothly and efficiently.

This involves working closely with stakeholders from Advisory, Risk Management, Office of General Counsel, Procurement, Security, and other teams to understand their feedback and perspective on the certification process.

This involves working directly with key stakeholders and the Business teams within Advisory Technology to ensure that technology certifications are executed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

The person must be able to translate the needs and objectives of the Risk and Compliance team into clear requirements for technology solutions.

 The person must also be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization, ensuring that expectations and requirements are clearly understood.

•       By actively managing the certification process, the person should be able to identify and mitigate risks and ensure that key stakeholders are informed about ongoing certification status and progress.

The person must be proactive in identifying potential issues and have the technical expertise and communication skills to work across teams and stakeholders to achieve common goals.

The person should be responsive to all stakeholders and taking appropriate action to address feedback.

The person must have communication skills to work across stakeholders and provide clear updates on progress and plans to respond to feedback.

The person must have an in-depth understanding of the technology certification process and regulations and be able to provide guidance and support to stakeholders on these matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Master's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience at KPMG or another professional services firm.
  • Demonstrated project management and client service mindset, with technology background preferred.
  • Outstanding verbal/written communication, project management, and presentation skills.
  • Self Starter who takes initiative, and who acts with minimal guidance and direction
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities in a team setting with peers and/or leadership experience managing one or more counselees.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion at the team, department, and local office level, as well as outside of the firm.
