Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Video Editor based in Delhi.
The role follows an availability-based structure:
- Expected output: Up to 8 short-form videos per month
- Working hours (when a video is assigned): 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM
- The editor must be available during these hours on assigned editing days
- In-office collaboration is required on editing days, however there is no requirement to come to the office on days when no video work is scheduled
- On non-assigned days, no work or office presence is required
This structure is ideal for someone looking for consistent monthly work with flexible non-assigned days.
Responsibilities
- Editing raw footage into high-retention short-form videos
- Crafting strong hooks, pacing, and comedic timing
- Adding subtitles, sound design, and meme-style elements
- Performing color grading and final polish
- Creating motion graphics, animated text, and visual effects using After Effects
- Iterating quickly during live feedback sessions when working in-office
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Solid experience with Adobe After Effects (motion graphics, text animation, transitions, effects)
- Experience editing short-form content (Reels/Shorts)
- Strong understanding of pacing and retention
- Attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly to feedback
Compensation
15,000 per month
