Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Music Teacher, based in Lucknow. The Music Teacher will conduct music theory and performance lessons, develop engaging lesson plans, and guide students in both individual and group settings. The responsibilities will include fostering students musical abilities, introducing diverse music genres, and preparing them for school events, competitions, or examinations. Additionally, the teacher will be expected to create an encouraging and inclusive learning environment to help students reach their full potential.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Music Theory and a solid understanding of foundational and advanced music concepts
- Experience in Music Performance and the ability to teach techniques for vocal or instrumental presentations
- Strong expertise in Music Education, including developing and adapting lesson plans to suit varied learning styles
- Competence in playing and teaching Piano, along with other instruments (preferred but not mandatory)
- Effective communication, patience, and ability to work with students across different age groups
- Educational background in Music, Music Education, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Previous teaching experience in music at the school level is an advantage
