Role Description

The Part-Time Mentors – MERN Stack (Tamil) role is a remote position focused on teaching and guiding learners in the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) technology stack through the Tamil language. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, explaining MERN concepts in a simple and structured manner, conducting live or recorded sessions, and answering learner questions. Mentors will review assignments and projects, provide constructive feedback, and support learners in building practical applications. The role involves collaborating with the training team to refine curriculum content, ensuring that examples and exercises are aligned with current industry practices. This part-time role offers flexibility while maintaining accountability for scheduled sessions and learner progress.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong MERN Stack skills, including practical experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
• Candidates should possess foundational web development skills, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful API integration.
• Candidates should possess skills in teaching, mentoring, or training, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly in Tamil.
• Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills to guide, motivate, and support learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Candidates should possess curriculum planning and content organization skills to design examples, exercises, and projects that reinforce learning.
• Prior experience in software development or as a MERN Stack developer is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), deployment basics, and modern development workflows is an advantage.
• Comfort with remote work tools and online teaching platforms, along with reliable internet connectivity, is required.

Program & Role Details:

• Time: Approximately 1-2 hours per day (flexible scheduling)
• Language Requirement: Fluency in Tamil is mandatory for conducting all training and mentoring sessions.
