About The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced
Computer Science Engineering (CSE) Industry Mentor to coach and upskill learners in
Hindi. This role focuses on strengthening core CS fundamentals, hands-on coding, system-level thinking, and interview readiness for software engineering roles.
Ideal mentors bring strong industry experience, clarity of fundamentals, and the ability to explain complex computer science concepts in a simple, practical, and learner-friendly manner.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver live mentoring sessions and technical office hours in Hindi, covering core CSE subjects and practical coding concepts.
- Guide learners in Data Structures & Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, Databases, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, and Software Engineering fundamentals.
- Review learner code, assignments, and mini-projects; provide actionable feedback on correctness, efficiency, readability, and best practices.
- Conduct technical assessments, mock interviews, and problem-solving sessions to prepare learners for software engineering interviews.
- Help learners develop structured problem-solving approaches and improve coding performance in timed environments.
- Collaborate with curriculum and product teams to refine content, create practice problems, and align learning outcomes with industry hiring expectations.
- Track learner progress, maintain mentorship notes, and escalate blockers to cohort managers to maximise learner success and placement readiness.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals (DSA, OOP, OS, DBMS, CN)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C++
- Experience solving and teaching DSA and interview-style coding problems
- Prior experience in mentoring, teaching, or technical coaching
- Instructional fluency in Hindi (verbal & written)
Preferred
- Industry experience as a Software Engineer / Backend / Full-Stack Developer
- Familiarity with system design basics and real-world software architecture
- Experience conducting technical interviews, resume reviews, or project evaluations
- Exposure to competitive programming or structured coding platforms
