The Online Educator (LINC Fellow) operates as an independent academic contributor, supporting Malaysia-based postgraduate students enrolled in the Masters of Business Analytics program offered by a leading Malaysian University.

What's on offer

This is an 8-week contract-based role offering:

• Remuneration: Base pay of approx. INR 76000*

• Additional Performance incentives: Up to INR 30000

*The remuneration is estimated for a group of 25 students for an 8-week unit that requires 10-15 hours of effort per week)

Work Flexibility

• Commitment of approximately 10–15 hours per week, 7 days a week.

• Fully remote working model

• Requirement of a stable internet connection and a distraction-free workspace

• Availability throughout the week as per the schedule

Roles & Responsibilities:

The LINC Fellow is expected to:

• Provide subject matter guidance to a cohort of 25–30 postgraduate students

• Conduct 1:1 academic support sessions

• Conduct 1 hour group facilitation sessions per week

• Guide students on course content and assessments

• Perform assessment grading with detailed, constructive feedback

• Manage and moderate weekly discussion forums

• Support students in developing academic skills such as writing, research, and time management

• Deliver timely, proactive, and personalised support to student queries

Engagement with students will take place via email, calls, and online platforms within defined availability hours.

• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

• Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

• Knowledge of data manipulation and processing techniques

• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities

Desired candidate profile:

• Doctorate / Master's Degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or related field with distinction or first-class from a reputed institution

• Minimum 5+ years of corporate and/or teaching experience

• At least 3 years of formal teaching experience at a university or college (mandatory)

• Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic and collaborative approach

• Ability to engage effectively with diverse, global learners

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• High level of comfort with digital tools and platforms

Availability Requirement

The candidate is expected to be available between 2:30 PM – 7:00 PM IST, 7 days a week, during which they may put in 1-2 hours of work based on student needs and marking load.
