Job description: We are seeking a Part Time Breakfast Chef to join our team on the weekends at the hotel in preparing and delivering high-quality breakfast meals. Also working a few shifts throughout the week on the main line. The ideal candidate will have experience in meal preparation, particularly in a hotel or restaurant setting.
Duties
- Prepare and cook breakfast items according to the menu specifications
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area
- Help with stock control and ordering supplies and deliveries as needed
- Create afternoon teas and pod packages for the spa.
- Cover holidays of other staff members.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a culinary role, preferably within a hotel or restaurant environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work individually on breakfast service
- Strong communication skills to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Familiarity with breakfast food preparation techniques and presentation
